• Cartridge heaters are available in two different watt densities, i.e. low density cartridge heaters and high density cartridge heaters as listed below:
• Low Density cartridge heater: Coil is made up of helically wound coil of Nickel Chrome wire. Watt density of 4 watt / sq. cm
• High Density cartridge heater:Its construction is different from that of LWD and CH in only two aspects as enlisted below:
• The space between ceramic bricks and the tube is filled with specially selected grain size of high purity Magnesium Oxide (MgO). This increases the thermal conductivity, dielectric strength and heater life of the heater
• 2. The tube used to house the ceramic brick arrangement is made of SS 316 sheath or Incoloy 800, having the maximum watt density of 12 watt / sq. cms
